An alpha and an omega

I won't be writing much about games anymore on this blog. Why, you might ask, concidering that games are such a significant part of my human life. Well, this is the reason. This blog will now be restricted to my thoughts on current events and ocasionally major happenings in my immediate surroundings. Like the one about me going back to the cursed military after a week of freedom in order to go out in the woods again, this time for eight nights. But it's only 52 days left now. 52...

The piracy Party has succeeded in registering itself as a political party by collecting the needed 1500 signatures from around the country. The actual count is over 2000. The party is getting more and more attention and hopefully they will get enough votes in the election later this year to get into the parliment. I'm thinkning about voting for them myself... the questions about integrity, copyright and patents are the ones I care the most about, and I would really like to see them brought forward, too many has accepted the way we are violated by the way we are supervised by all kinds of authorities. The whole patent-system is also directly un-good, hindering the distribution of medecine in third-world countries.

But the companies make more money this way! W00t!

Oh, and regarding that last post, did it sound like I dislike Islamic people? Of course I do not. I dislike extremists (of any kind) that giver large, nice groups of people a bad reputation. It's happening on both sides right now.

Jihad!

Now that is something that really sucks donkey balls. Not just because it involves killing a whole lot of innocent people and saying "I am allowed to because Mohammad did so. Besides, it was in the name of God and all that is good", it also sucks because people can't publish some cartoons in a white, western, Christian country, meaning no harm, without getting threatened to death by some Islamic extremists, thereby putting a huge shadow over the entire religion, marking all of the followers with a "suicidal maniac"-sign right across the chest, bringing more fear and hate from people from afar and making everything bigger and worse than it ever should have, or would have had to be.
Now this western country apologizes for upsetting so many über-sensitive (almost more sensitive than US on nudity and foul language) people, and they get the loving response of burning the country's flag and prime minister and boycotting products from the country, putting thoughtful, caring, family-supporting humans who hasn't drawn a single Mohammad-picture in they're lives out of work.
Well, you've got to work hard to stay as the world's most beloved religion.
